FAQ

Do you shoot destination weddings?

I absolutely LOVE travelling! I've travelled to the UK, USA and Namibia for destination weddings, and can't wait for the next one!

Will there be a second shooter?

For weddings with more than 50 guests, I bring a second shooter along.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Definitely! I charge an hourly rate, and I'm always keen to stay longer if there are more memories to capture!

What your style of photography?

I approach all my shoots in a documentary style - I want to be as little disruptive as I can, and capture the moments you might miss! I don't set up or do formally posed pictures, with the exception of the family pictures on a wedding day if this is something my clients want.

Can I order prints through you?

I can definitely help you with prints after your shoot!

Do you offer discounts for weekday weddings?

I do! I offer a R2000 discount on any package if you wedding is on a Monday-Thursday.

I'm super uncomfortable in front of the camera. What now?

You're not alone! Even as a photographer I myself feel uncomfortable being photographed. And because I know exactly how that feels, I want to try and set your mind at ease! On your wedding day, the last thing you're going to be stressed about is taking pictures. And because my style is documentary, I will offer you a space where you won't even know I'm shooting for most of the time! If we're taking formal portraits, if that is something you want, I will gently guide you through it!

Will our photos be in colour, black and white, or a mix?

You can expect your gallery to contain somewhere between 40%-50% black and white images. I'm a sucker for black and white images - not gonna lie! If you have a preference, you're welcome to communicate that with me!

How long after the wedding do we have to wait to get our photos?

Depending on the season, I generally send you your wedding photos 8 weeks after your wedding. For other smaller shoots, between 2 and 4 weeks.

How many photos should we expect?

It's difficult to put a number on this. Each wedding is so different, and as a result the number of photos from each wedding will be different. Things like the amount of guests, hours booked and time needed to travel between locations will influence the amount of images you get. I usually end up giving between 500 and 800 images.
